Frida Kahlo Blue Box

Description

Prominent image of Frida Kahlo on the top of this gorgeous box.  The image is handpainted by a Peruvian artisan using the method of reverse glass painting. The Frida image is the artist’s interpretation of a well-known Frida Kahlo painting.  The flowers on top of her head carry throughout the paintings on 3 panels of the box and the blue tinted foil on the back panel of the box.   Hinged box made of wood and painted in dark blue on the outside and inside in black.
