Cerridwen (sculpture)

Description

Cerridwen, is the keeper of the Cauldron of Knowledge.   Her cauldron symbolizes the transformative power of magic, wisdom, rebirth and creative inspiration.  Cerridwen is derived from the Celtic word “cerru”, meaning cauldron.  She is a crone, wise, powerful and resourceful.  Also associated with the moon, fertility, science, prophecy and poetry.  Her cauldron is adorned with a metal eternity knot.

This sculpture has an earth tone finish, brushed with copper highlights and made from natural gypsum. These are handmade which means the color and highlights may be slightly different than the photo.  Made in Canada.
