Description

This magnificent softcover journal is a designed by Michico Kamee. The design was originally painted with gold over glaze and color on china by using the Kyo-Satsuma method. Emphasizing precision line and color choice, then gilded.

The cover is lovely to touch – the texture of gold embellishment. Most of the lines of the flowers are outlined in gold sparkle and thoughtfully placed are gold dots in centers. If you choose this beauty, hold it in your hand under a lamp and move it ever so gently – the sparkle and movement of this design and the way it was printed is divine.  More incredible than the photos can begin to display!

This journal has a flexible softcover. Makes it lighter, easier to carry with you.  The edges of the pages are printed in a light gold tone with leaf and floral designs. Inside the back flap of the journal is a memento pouch – a secret pocket to store notes for safe keeping to include in your journal, bits you find along your travels.  There is a red silk ribbon marker to keep your place. 176 lined pages. Sustainable forest paper.
