Dancer with Flare Skirt (sculpture)

Description

Beautiful clay sculpture handmade by an artisan in Chulucanas, Peru. Her facial expression is serene. Her stance of grace & joy. A long braid drapes down the front of her dress, a flower adorns her hair. The flared skirt is flowing and glazed with colors of sage, deep rose & maize. The balance of design & color is soothing. A very special piece! Low kiln fired using natural ingredients from the artisan’s surroundings. Artisan is a member of a Fair Trade community.
